What We Can Treat

Vital Wellness focuses on simple urgent procedures and medical assessments that can be safely performed in our clinic, including:

  • Suturing and basic wound care
  • Evaluation and treatment of abscesses
  • Removal of skin tags
  • IV hydration therapy
  • Initial injury assessments
  • Evaluation for possible foreign bodies
  • Removal of foreign objects from ears, nose, or superficial skin

Our goal is to provide efficient, medically sound care while helping patients avoid unnecessary delays.

Imaging & X-Ray Referrals

Vital Wellness does not perform X-rays on site.

However, when imaging is required, we can refer patients Monday through Friday to Coastal Diagnostic Imaging in Jacksonville, North Carolina.

Once imaging is completed, radiology over-reads are typically returned within 8–12 hours. Prior to the formal radiology report, our providers are experienced in reviewing both bony and chest X-ray images, allowing us to make informed clinical decisions and discuss next steps with patients and families

When Higher-Level Care Is Needed

If a patient’s condition requires services beyond our scope, we are able to perform an initial medical assessment, stabilize the patient when appropriate, and coordinate referral to the most appropriate facility.

This may include an urgent care center, diagnostic imaging center, or emergency department, depending on the clinical situation.

Vital Wellness can also communicate directly with your primary care provider or the Emergency Department to communicate your condition and treatment recommendations.

Self-Pay Care & Transparent Pricing

Vital Wellness is a self-pay clinic and does not accept insurance. This allows us to focus on efficient, patient-centered care without administrative delays.

The cost of services is evaluated upon arrival based on the care provided. If we determine that we are unable to safely treat a condition, a $50 wellness or stabilization fee may apply for the medical assessment prior to referral.
